Layna heinrich 

As a mother of 3 (driving!) children, I understand the need to be patient, understanding and empathetic as learners navigate this unknown and unpredictable world of independence and driving. My children were my first (and toughest!) students. But they gave me the belief in my abilities to teach young people not only the skills to drive, but the knowledge of how to make good decisions to remain competent and safe throughout their time on the roads.

I am dedicated to helping every student overcome any personal obstacles, and am experienced with anxious/nervous students and those with special learning needs.

Whether you are a first-time learner driver, transferring your international driving qualifications or just looking to improve your current skills, with my clear guidance, you will be assured in building confidence behind the wheel.

Based in the Adelaide Hills, I have local knowledge, up to date training, full public liability and public indemnity insurance, a current police clearance, working with children check and am a member of ADTASA (Australian Driver Training Association of South Australia).

Initial meet & lesson

A discounted initial lesson to discuss your driving experience so far, discuss your strengths and weaknesses, explain the process to becoming an independent driver, and to ensure I am the right instructor for you.

At the end of this lesson, I will give you honest feedback as to how many lessons may be required to prepare you for your VORT as we plan together towards you achieving this successfully.

Individualised driving lesson

Each lesson is individualised around a student’s skill level, confidence and abilities, with the pace being set by the student alone.

Every element of The Driving Companion guide is covered in preparation to sit the Vehicle-On-Road-Test.

P's in a Day
$1,000.00

An intensive day of driver training, covering all tasks in the Driver Companion Book in preparation to sitting the Vehicle-On-Road-Test (VORT).

6 hours (with half an hour break), and includes priority booking of VORT on completion.

Will suit student who has completed majority of driving hours and is nearing eligible age to sit VORT

5 × 90 minute individualised driving lessons, designed to teach all elements required in preparation of Vehicle-On-Road-Test.
